Choosing this construction
A sample can help describe an existing pallet, particularly when no drawing is available. It cannot by itself establish its original capacity, treatment history or suitability for a different cargo.
Capture dimensions and construction
Record the footprint, height, board arrangement, support sections, entry and relevant markings. Describe how the pallet is used and any previous problems. Ask the supplier to produce an agreed specification rather than relying on an informal promise to copy it.
A practical specification example
If the sample is damaged, identify which features are intentional and which result from use. Confirm whether you require the same footprint or the exact construction. A redesigned equivalent should be reviewed for the actual load and handling route.
Treatment and marking for the finished packaging
Tell us where the goods are being packed and their final destination. Include collars, blocking and other raw timber used with the base. Ask for the treatment and marking requirement to be confirmed for the offered construction. Neither entry type, footprint nor new condition is proof of ISPM 15 compliance. Changes after the packaging is supplied should be referred back to the responsible provider.
Request a quotation for the actual job
Send dimensions or a drawing, quantity, cargo weight and support points, handling method and delivery postcode. Add the packing deadline and unloading arrangements. Product design, supply, price and delivery are confirmed against the enquiry. You can contact the team directly; the optional brief builder is available if you want help organising those details.
